I'm going to give you everything I possibly can to help you when it comes to designing your brand... A quick background on me... I started my graphic design business 10 years ago and since then it's evolved into more of a branding and digital marketing agency if you will... I've worked with celebrities such as Jon Bon Jovi to Fabio Viviani to the funnel stud himself Russell Brunson and helped all of them design and brand their businesses to help them better connect with their audiences...

 

Now enough about me, let's dive into some fun stuff...

So the biggest issue I see (there's a lot but let's focus on this one for now) when it comes to watching people build their funnels is this... They want to become the expert/thought leader overnight... They think if they just build a funnel, they're going to hit the internet marketing jackpot and be rich in 39 days...

 

Guys, it doesn't work like that. Sorry to burst your bubble...

 Even Russell Brunson himself will tell you the struggle is real... When it comes to building funnels (and I've built hundreds over the past 3 years inside ClickFunnels) you must establish a brand first... It's all about designing your brand, then designing your strategy, then once that's done, you still have some work to do... Once the brand design and strategy is finalized, you have to move to step two which is creating the buzz... This is where you need to choose a platform that feels right to you.  Whether it be a podcast, Facebook lives, Instagram, blogging, vlogging, whatever...

Pick one that you're comfortable with and start putting out content so people can actually determine if you are trustworthy enough to buy from you... If you're a HACK, we're going to smell that from a mile away and do you really think we're going to pull out our credit cards and buy from you?

 

Would you?

 

Exactly...

 So that's the second part of the Branding puzzle that you must complete before you even think about building a funnel... Now that you got your design, strategy, and buzz built, the last piece of the puzzle is reaching Thought Leader Status... And unfortunately guys, this one you don't have much control over.  You become a thought leader when your audience says so... 

 

NOT when you do...

 However the good news is this, you do have control over how consistent you are with creating buzz and putting out really great content which will build tremendous trust between your brand and your audience.

Sounds pretty simple right?

 

 

WRONG!!!

 The problem is none of you have the patience to do all these steps prior to building your funnel...

 

Here's the deal guys...

 If you don't build the trust between your brand and your audience, you don't have a business... Everyone's trying to be the next internet "guru" doing $1m a day in sales... Quite frankly when I hear these people talking numbers like that I laugh. I don't care if you make a $3m dollars a day if it cost you $3.1m to make! 

 

Is this making sense?

 If there's one piece of value I want you to get out of this article is this...

 

DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

 Stop jumping the gun and trying to go straight for the kill. 

 

This is the quickest way to failure. 

 

And when your funnel fails it's a very expensive failure...

 

 

Take the proper steps to building your funnel before you just slap something together and cross your fingers and hope it works...
